The journey does not end when you board the return flight. In many ways, it begins there.

The weeks after a sacred journey are often the most disorienting part of the whole experience. Keep a daily journal for the first two weeks. Not necessarily about the trip itself, but about what you notice: what feels different, what you value more, what you are less willing to tolerate. The journey continues to offer insights for months afterward if you remain receptive.

Maintain one practice from the trip. Whether that was morning meditation, a gratitude ritual, or simply sitting quietly before beginning the day, one anchor practice carries the frequency of the journey into regular life.

Stay connected to your travel community. The people you journeyed with hold the memory of who you were in those sacred spaces. Those relationships are resources.

Be patient with yourself. Transformation is not a single event. It is a process that unfolds over months and years. The journey planted something. Your job now is to water it.
