You'll stay in high-quality 5-star hotels and visit the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum. The journey includes an intimate 7-day / 6-night Nile cruise aboard a traditional Dahabya sailboat, allowing access to smaller villages and lesser-visited ruins that large cruise ships cannot reach.

Arrival in Cairo
Touch down in Cairo, where a warm welcome awaits and you are transferred to your hotel. Settle in, breathe the desert air, and feel the ancient land of the pharaohs begin to work its magic on your heart.

Saqqara & Dahshur
Stand before the Step Pyramid of Zoser at Saqqara, the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt, set within the oldest royal cemetery of ancient Egypt. After lunch, journey to Dahshur to marvel at the Bent and Red Pyramids of King Snefru, father of Khufu, builder of the Great Pyramid.

The Great Pyramids & The GEM
Enjoy a rare private entry into the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only wonder of the ancient world still standing, in the stillness before dawn. Return to rest and refresh, then explore the entire Giza plateau by daylight. After lunch, step into the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum.

Cairo to Fayoum & the Pottery School
Leave the city behind and journey into the Fayoum Oasis, a green jewel in the desert. Settle into a tranquil agri-eco lodge, then visit the pottery school of Tunis village, where generations of young artisans have mastered the art of pottery, making it the most celebrated pottery village in Egypt.

Wadi Al Hitan & the Farm
Climb aboard 4x4 vehicles for an unforgettable desert adventure to Wadi Al Hitan, the Valley of the Whales, a UNESCO heritage site with over 89 whale fossils from 43 million years ago. Continue off-road to a magical lake of blue water surrounded by golden dunes, then tour the lodge's farm and discover the farming traditions of the Fayoum people.

Fayoum to Luxor — Karnak Temple
Fly south to Luxor and step into Karnak, the largest religious center on earth from the BC era. Then check in to your hotel and let the grandeur of it all sink in.

Seti I Temple & the Osireion, Abydos
Journey to Abydos and enter the exquisite Temple of Seti I. Then enjoy a private and exclusive visit to the Osireion, the mysterious underground temple of Osiris. Spend the night at the House of Life hotel, facing the temple.

Hathor Temple, Dendera & Luxor Temple
Travel to Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor and Isis, the best preserved temple in Egypt, its vivid colors and positive energy like no other. Return to Luxor and board your Dahabeya Nile cruise, enjoy lunch on board, then visit Luxor Temple in the afternoon.

Valley of the Kings, Habu & Colossi of Memnon
Cross to the west bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, Habu Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Enjoy lunch on board as you sail south toward Edfu through the Esna Lock, relaxing on the sundeck through the afternoon.

Horus Temple, Edfu
Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god. Return to the boat and set sail south toward Kom Ombo, relaxing on board for the rest of the day.

Kom Ombo Temple
Explore Kom Ombo, the unique double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. Return to the boat and sail south to Aswan, docking for the night.
Day 12 · Wed Nov 4 · B,L,D
Abu Simbel & the High Dam
Journey south to Abu Simbel and stand in awe before the two great temples of Ramses II, dedicated to the pharaoh and his beloved Queen Nefertari. On the way back, stop at the famous High Dam, once considered the largest man-made project of the 20th century. Return to the boat for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.

Private Isis Temple, Philae & Departure
Before dawn, cross to Philae Island for an exclusive private entry into the Temple of Isis. Return to the boat to rest and enjoy breakfast, then visit Philae once more by daylight, the most sacred site in ancient Egypt, before flying to Cairo, where you are transferred to your hotel for your onward journey home.
