Nepal — Where Heaven Meets Earth

Nepal is a land of astonishing spiritual power — a small kingdom wedged between the world's two largest countries, yet home to some of humanity's most sacred sites. The Kathmandu Valley alone contains seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, all within walking distance of each other.

This is the land of the Buddha's birth. It is where Tibetan Buddhism has found its most fertile ground outside of Tibet itself. Great lamas, rinpoches, and spiritual teachers continue to live and teach in the monasteries here, and the living traditions of ceremony, mantra, and meditation remain fully intact.

Our journey will take you into this extraordinary world — from the ancient stupas of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath, to the high mountain views of Pokhara, to the sacred birthplace of the Buddha himself in Lumbini.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in the mystical Kathmandu Valley, ringed by the snow-capped Himalayas. After settling in, enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation, setting a sacred tone for the days ahead.

Day 2

Kathmandu Temples & Stupas

Begin with sunrise at Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), one of Asia's most glorious Buddhist stupas perched atop a hill overlooking the valley. Explore Pashupatinath, Nepal's most sacred Hindu temple on the banks of the Bagmati River, where cremation ghats line the riverbanks in the ancient tradition.

Day 3

Boudhanath & Kopan Monastery

Walk the circumambulation path of the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa — a living mandala in the heart of the city. Visit Kopan Monastery, a thriving center for Tibetan Buddhist teaching and practice. Receive teachings from resident monks.

Day 4

Bhaktapur & Patan Durbar Squares

Journey through two of Kathmandu Valley's ancient royal cities — Bhaktapur and Patan, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Marvel at masterworks of Newari architecture, intricately carved wooden temples, and golden pagodas in these remarkably preserved medieval cities.

Day 5–6

Pokhara & Annapurna Views

Fly to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna Himalaya. The mirror-still Phewa Lake reflects the snow peaks in the early morning. Visit the World Peace Pagoda and take a sunrise boat ride on the lake with Machapuchare (Fish Tail Mountain) gleaming gold at dawn.

Day 7

Lumbini — Birthplace of Buddha

Visit the sacred birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. Lumbini is one of the most important pilgrimage sites on Earth. Visit the Maya Devi Temple, the sacred Bodhi tree, and the peaceful garden zone with monasteries from nations across the Buddhist world.

Day 8

Integration & Departure

Final morning meditation in the shadow of the Himalayas. Group closing ceremony, sharing of insights, and transfer to Kathmandu airport for onward flights. You depart forever changed by the sacred land of Nepal.
