Adventure Through the Ancient Landscape of North India

Journey into the heart of North India on a deeply immersive pilgrimage through some of the region's most sacred and spiritually alive places.

Begin at the Taj Mahal, one of the great wonders of the world, taking in its extraordinary beauty, artistry, and timeless presence. From there, travel north toward the Himalayas and the mountain town of Dharamsala, home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and one of the most important centers of Tibetan Buddhist life outside Tibet.

Here, we will take a deep dive into Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, culture, and spiritual practice. Visit Tibetan monasteries and temples, sit in meditation in sacred spaces, meet with Tibetan rinpoches and respected spiritual masters, and have opportunities to learn directly from teachers who carry living wisdom traditions passed down through generations.

We will explore the philosophy and practices of Tibetan Buddhism not simply as ideas, but as a living way of understanding the mind, compassion, awareness, and what it means to live a meaningful life. Along the way, we'll experience the beauty of Tibetan art, ritual, prayer, monastic life, and the extraordinary culture that has taken root in the Himalayan foothills.

We will also visit Namgyal Monastery, the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and, if circumstances align, there may even be an opportunity to receive a blessing or attend a teaching with His Holiness.

From Dharamsala, continue to Amritsar and the magnificent Golden Temple, the spiritual heart of the Sikh tradition. Experience the temple at different times of day, surrounded by prayer, sacred music, devotion, and the shimmering reflection of its golden walls upon the holy waters.

This is far more than a sightseeing journey. It is an invitation into the spiritual heart of North India, a rare opportunity to encounter living wisdom traditions, learn from remarkable teachers, experience sacred places from the inside, and return home with a deeper understanding of yourself and the world.

"On the trip to India there were so many incredible adventures and moments. Meeting the Dalai Lama was life changing beyond words. Also, I enjoyed being in the Himalayas and seeing the magnificent Taj Mahal. So many things that impacted me on the trip!" — Laurie D.
